PATAK’S BUTTER CHICKEN

INGREDIENTS

250 Grams Boneless Chicken cut into 1 inch or Tandoori Grilled Chicken Tikka ¼ Teaspoon Salt 1 Teaspoon Ginger Pounded 1 Teaspoon Garlic Pounded ¼ Teaspoon Chilli Powder 1 Teaspoon Cumin Seed Powder 3 Tablespoon Salted Butter ½ Cup Chopped Red Onion 1 Cup Chopped Tomato 1 Sachet Patak’s Butter Chicken Paste 1 ½ Cup Water ¼ Cup Food Cream

METHOD

In a bowl marinate the chicken pieces with salt and chili powder and leave it aside. In a heavy base pan heat 2 tablespoon of butter, add in the garlic, ginger, stir fry until crisp. Then add the onions and cook till golden brown. Add tomatoes and cover pan with lid and cook for 2 mins. Remove lid and mash the tomatoes with a masher for 10 minutes Add in the remaining butter and Cumin Seed powder with Patak’s Butter Chicken Paste. Put in the chicken pieces and cook for 3 minutes. Add in the water, food cream and simmered for 5 minutes. Off fire, serve hot.
